Give Goods: Food Donation and Recovery
This panel will bring together experts in the world of food recovery and redistribution in NYC, covering the full process of rescuing edible food from waste and distributing it to networks feeding New Yorkers. Speakers from organizations of different sizes and operational models will discuss and contrast approaches. From citywide transportation networks to hyper-local donations; from a volunteer-driven system to a digital platform, panelists will discuss how resources impact strategy and how each model fills a specific need within the complex context of New York City’s food landscape.
